The world of festivals is a fast-moving game and it doesn't feel like five years since we were heading to Wakefield for Long Division's first event.

There's no denying that the organisers have made speedy and sustained improvements since that initial foray into festival waters and this year's lineup features a number of seriously successful British bands and international guests. But it's lads from down the road, in the form of The Spills, who deliver a blistering opening to Long Division 2015. With an occasional nod to local boys The Cribs, they manage to run the gauntlet of numerous genres throughout their 25 minute set. Forthcoming single, released on the 29th June, 'Crash-Landed Clouds' provides a particular highlight, which bodes well for the future of this Yorkshire foursome.
