It's hard to believe that Philadelphia's Beach Slang only formed in 2013. They impact they have had on the music scene since they emerged from Pennsylvania has permeated so far and wide that it feels like at least a decade has passed since they unleashed 2015's 'The Things We Do to Find People Who Feel Like Us'.
2016 has undoubtedly been the year of Beach Slang. Their ramshackle take on the sound originally followed by bands like The Replacements has won hearts and minds over the course of the last twelve months. Originally the soundtrack to late nights and tiny venues, their music has managed to capture the imagination of even mainstream press outlets.
Beach Slang started 2015 as little more than a whisper of bright futures, but ended the year as heroes with accolades galore and a number of mainstream media outlets praising their debut full-length. Now the band are returning to the UK for their largest tour to date.
