A decade ago, the 'urban festival' was little more than a pipe dream. A staggeringly ambitious undertaking which seemed destined to failure when the allure of the outdoors was dominating ticket sales. A few festivals leading the way, persevered with the format and now Live at Leeds, the ultimate trailblazers, celebrate their tenth year.
After a triumphant headline show at London's 100 Club earlier this week, Spring King have now announced that they will play their largest headline show to-date in the capital on 26th May. The show will take place at London's 1,000 capacity Scala venue.
Manchester's Spring King finished 2015 riding a wave of (entirely justified) hype and now they're ending this week with a sold out Friday night hometown show at The Deaf Institute. The gig will be their largest Manchester headline show to date and tickets sold out weeks in advance.
