On the back of their sophomore release, 'Fixed Ideals', Muncie Girls are hitting the road with one of Australia's greatest bands. The Hard Aches unleashed their own sophomore record, the stunning 'Mess', earlier this year and the pairing is one of the greatest lineups you're likely to see this year.
After spending last month unleashing almost thirty artists for the line-up, Derbu's 2Q Festival have now revealed the headline acts for their 2017 edition. Reformed Sheffield heroes Milburn will top the bill and they'll be joined by Temples who will have just unleashed their new album before the festival takes place on Saturday 1st April.
We first encountered Muncie Girls supporting Tellison in Brighton. During that gig, marking the five year anniversary of 'Contact! Contact!', a band who could easily have been written off as the 'local' support convinced us that they were the future. Now, as that album nears the decade-mark, they've well and truly proved us right.
