In this way, and many others Long Division Festival is arguably one of a kind. Now into the second year of their comeback, we headed to Wakefield to sample their eclectic delights.
After a brief hiatus, the wonderful Long Division Festival returns to the streets of Wakefield this year. Representing one of the UK's most eclectic bills, as well as a ticket that you'd be hard-pressed to beat for value, it left a gaping hole in last year's festival calendar. To celebrate its return, we've delved into the lineup to present five bands you need to see.
Five albums into their career, We Are Scientists have unleashed one of their most laid-back albums to date. 'Helter Seltzer' is the sound of a band writing and recording for the love of making music; there's no agenda and the outcome is a refreshing burst of chilled pop-rock. It's not a vast departure from what's come before, but it certainly keeps things interesting.
