On record, Carsick blend a number of high-energy genres to craft anthems which never quite sit still long enough to categorise, but it is on stage where these glorious explosions of melody truly reach their full potential. It’s perhaps lucky then, that they are currently on the road for their first ever headline tour. While it might be early days for the band, if their chaotic Bournemouth show last weekend is anything to go by then the cavernous venues and chart-bothering singles are already looming on the horizon.
Openly admitting that they were ‘formed over pints’ and with an EP on the way titled ‘Drunk Hymns’, it is somewhat fitting that this weekend will see the band organise a piss up in an, well, erm… brewery as they take to the stage at London’s Signature Brew. This will be followed with a pair of shows in Manchester and Bristol before a climactic night at Southampton’s Heartbreakers in two weeks' time.
Tickets for all dates are on sale now but, with the aforementioned Bournemouth show easily selling out in advance, it’s only a matter of time before they’re gone. The full tour itinerary is shown below with the band already lining up myriad festival appearances into the summer and beyond.
