In June, the shimmering ‘Anything Whatever’ emerged with Roddy’s trademark vocals bobbing along on a synth-heavy atmospheric sea. Two weeks ago, Almost Nothing unleashed their second single ‘Instant Love’, a little more traditional than the debut, it feels destined to sit alongside Woomble’s strongest anthems from across his projects.
As we head towards their debut album, set to be released later this year, Almost Nothing spend this week on the road with the legendary The Walkmen; perhaps a surprising combination, but one which will allow a melting pot of old and new across the night. Having kicked off the tour, fittingly, in Scotland at Glasgow’s SWG3 venue, they continue tonight in Dublin before a week of English shows. Many shows are already sold out, but the full tour itinerary is shown below:
