Elsewhere on the Thursday lineup, The Boo Radleys will be performing tracks from ‘Giant Steps’ along with other hits. The band have recently been touring their seminal Creation classic in full which has drawn attention to how under-appreciated a moment in Britpop history the release was at the time. Opening the event will be Glasgow’s Shambolics, showcasing tracks from their recent EP, the unusually-titled, ‘U Serious Boi!?!’ and the other modern-day classics they’ve crafted over the past few years.
Having recently unveiled The Cribs as special guests for Saturday 5th August. The Bingley Weekender organisers have also taken this opportunity to bolster the bill further with excellent additions like Black Honey, Andrew Cushin, Weekend Recovery, Stanleys and Sad Boys Club.
Tickets for the opening party are available via the festival website now, as well as day and weekend tickets for the event as a whole. The organisers may well still have some more gems to reveal, but the (almost) complete lineup for Bingley Weekender 2023 is shown below:
