With their latest album, the band continue to delve into the realm of the apocalyptic while never allowing themselves to become entangled in the difficult terrain of officially branding anything a ‘concept album’. From the jarring siren which opens the album, and which literally woke them from an 8am slumber during recording sessions for the release, the record is the sound of a band stumbling through the world in 2023; albeit a band armed with searing riffs and a faithful reliance on rock n roll sensibilities.
This week sees the band arrive in the UK for a series of headline shows. The tour commences this evening in the capital’s Shacklewell Arms before colliding with Manchester and Leeds before a London return for this weekend’s Wide Awake Festival. As you would expect, tickets have sold well (with Manchester now a complete sell out) but remaining tickets are available to buy now and the full tour itinerary is shown below:
