'Tough Baby' itself is a masterpiece of a full-length. Where it seemed like 'Pain Olympics', the collective's debut album which they'd fully expected to be their only album release, could never be matched, Crack Cloud have somehow managed to surpass it at the first attempt. Both albums have piroutted through more genres than the majority of bands manage in an entire career and the live show explores every nook and cranny of their musical spectrum.
As well as headlining shows, the band have landed themselves a support slot with the legendary Pavement (at Edinburgh's Usher Hall) and it's testament to the quality of their output that a collective who formed largely by chance through addiction and mental health support groups are now actually flirting with mainstream success.
