Earlier this year, Romero unleashed 'Turn It On!'; a debut album whose exclamative imperative title more than adequately operates as a statement of intent. The album itself owes as much to throwback moments of scuzzy 70s guitar rock as it does to more recent indie rock touchstones, such as the New York City scene recently explored in, stunning documentary, 'Meet Me In The Bathroom'. No matter where the genre direction is coming from though, Romero consistently craft pulsating micro-anthems which are equal parts party kicker and addictive earworm.
Heading over from Australia for their lengthiest tour to date, the band are joining a range of bands on the road, such as the fabulous The Bug Club and even a coveted slot on London's Pitchfork Festival! Again, it is Romero's eclectic offerings which make them so adept at being able to hop on to varied bills and somehow continue to make themselves seem right at home.
