Bridgers gained initial notoriety for her haunting versions of Pixies' 'Gigantic', which found its home on Apple adverts a couple of years ago. Since then she's been justifiably championed by Ryan Adams, to the extent that his label (PAX AM) have released her first singles. She's currently in the process of applying her glorious vocals to a debut album, which we hope to see before the end of 2017.
This week sees them both join Conor Oberst for a brief run of UK shows. Understandably, tickets for the shows sold out quickly and we're hoping that it's only a matter of time before La Lupa and Bridgers both make it back over for a well-deserved headline run. In the meantime, if you're lucky enough to have secured a ticket for any of the shows, make sure you get down early enough to check out a pair of new modern folk heroes.
