That's not to say that the band haven't had their hits, or even that certain albums don't stand out as fan favourites, but their output has always been so consistent that they've never had reason to rest on their laurels or rely on trotting out cash cow singles to keep the crowds flowing.
The band don't tour as much as they used to - the mid 2010's saw them clocking up well over 100 gigs each year - so opportunities to see them on British shores must be savoured like a fine wine. They are joined on this run by fellow New Yorker Kevin Devine, who has himself released one of the albums of his career in 2022 with the stunning 'Nothing's Real, So Nothing's Wrong'; a selection so varied that his support slot will surely offer a truly eclectic span of what he's capable of.
Originally scheduled to take place earlier this year, the tour finally kicked off in London earlier this week and visits mainland Europe once the British dates have been concluded. The remining UK tour itinerary is shown below and tickets for all dates are available now:
