At the turn of this year, their follow-up album, 'Drunk Tank Pink' highlighted how refusing to follow a strict set of genre rules can be liberating rather than challenging. The result was an album which, even back in January, was clearly destined to bother End of Year lists (as it now is). A triumph of the genre, it's frustrating that COVID prevented us from basking in the glow of its live presentation for so long.
Shame have spent the past few weeks on the road exploring 'Drunk Tank Pink', alongside the many prime cuts from the debut album in the live arena. As their musical juggernaut grinds to the end of it's lengthy jaunt, we suggest you head out to catch a show before the venues get even bigger on their next trip around the block.
