Last year, the band unleashed ‘Unravelling’, their most ambitious full-length to date. Darker than much of their previous material, the album was a brooding flirt with pop rock and songs like ‘Safety in Numbers’ managed to combine intensity with the melodic anthems we’ve come to expect from the Scottish quartet..
This week sees the band embarking on an all-too-rare UK tour; the live We Were Promised Jetpacks experience is even more enthralling than the anthems they manage to build in the studio. The tour kicks off with a headline date in Liverpool on Thursday, before the band join Explosions in the Sky for a quartet of support slots.
